Intro to Archery
Whether you have had a chance to take part at a have-a-go type event, are returning to archery after a long gap or have never picked up a bow before in your life, the Introduction to Archery course is the ideal program for you. Bowmen of Gower run several Introduction to Archery courses each year, providing an easy, fun and safe way for beginners to get a complete introduction to the sport.
The course
Our qualified coaches will provide basic training that will cover: Basic archery range layout and safety. Warm up and exercise. Equipment selection and advice. Shooting using both barebow and freestyle techniques. Sighting, aiming and scoring. Mini games and matches. NO equipment or experience is required and anyone is welcome.
